In this situation, the state has already informed the decision to sell onions to soothe the common people. Likewise, the state government is buying its own onion cheaper onions at ‘Sufal Bangla’ at a cost of Tk 12 kg. However, it is being sold at the rate of Tk 50 kg. The state will now sell onions at a lower price from the ration shop after deciding to sell onions at a fair price through a self-reliant group to comfort more people.

Why the crisis is not clear why the city wholesalers say. They said that onions were not coming from Nasik or southern states. Though the central government has talked about importing onions from abroad to handle the situation, it has not happened yet.
