If you travel frequently and are worried about the confirmation of your seat, then the railways have given you great relief. Indian Railways has started showing reservation charts online. Travelers can now get information about empty, booked and partially booked berths after making a reservation chart.
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted, ‘Rail journey without hassle: Passengers can now get information on empty, booked and partially booked seats after a chart is made with just one click’.
After making the chart, passengers will get information about whether a seat is vacant in the train or not.
first reservation chart traveled in every class from 1 January 4 hours before the train can be seen online, while the second chart can be seen half an hour before the train departure. The second chart will show a change in the allocation of seats.
The new feature will be available on both web and mobile versions of IRCTC ‘s e-ticket booking platform. In the new interface, the layout of all the nine categories used in the reserved train of Indian Railways will be seen.
